SurfBoard Layout

SurfBoard in its default layout

Label
The Label is just an optional heading for the menu. Font and color are editable, and it's positioned centrally at the top of the applet. The Underscore is a darker version of the background color. Removing the Label also removes the underscore and moves the other components higher up the applet. You can optionally remove only the underscore.

List
The menu entries, each of which has up to 4 associated URL and Targets, plus a description. Entries are selected by clicking them. The background and text colors for the list can be altered.

Image-Button
A 3-stage image button that links to the selected menu entry in the List when clicked. The images used for the button can be of any size and style, in GIF or JPEG format.

Preview
This is where the description for the selected menu entry is displayed. The background colors, text color and font can be edited. The description text will be automatically wrapped within this area. The description for a menu entry can be an image or animated GIF which will also be displayed in this area.

WIth the exception of the Label, each element can be recolored, resized, and moved to wherever you want it within the applet area. The applet itself can be any color, either as a 3D panel (as above), a plain panel that blends into its surrounding page color, or can use a background image.
